KUALA LUMPUR
Literally meaning ‘Muddy Estuary’ Kuala Lumpur was built on the confluence of two rivers namely the Gombak and Klang Rivers. ‘KL’ as it is known to locals is the national capital of Malaysia as well as its largest city. Being the cultural, financial, economic, home to the Malaysian Parliament and official residence of The Malaysian King, this garden city of lights has played host to many international sporting, political and cultural events. Also it is home to the Petronas Twin Towers, an iconic symbol of Malaysia’s futuristic development.
The city is a very good example of the old meeting the new with British colonial era landmarks just next door to modern glass and steel skyscrapers that dominate the city’s skyline.
Well known for its shopping and dining, with options ranging from large malls and contemporary restaurants to shophouses and food stalls. The Golden triangle area’s Bukit Bintang district offers designer boutiques, luxury department stores and glitzy retail and entertainment complexes. Small, colourful shops dot Brickfields (little India) and Chinatown, whose art deco Central market houses numerous craft sellers. At the city’s northern edge is Batu Caves, natural limestone caves housing Hindu Temples.
KL is definitely a place where everyday fun and world class sophistication meet to create a unique destination for travellers filled with Malaysian charm and friendliness.
MALACCA
Malacca or Melaka enjoys a strategic location on the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, along the straits of Malacca, covering an area of 1650 sq km. Established in 1403, it was an important trading post in Malaysia’s early history and attracted traders from all over the world. Today it is home to the UNESCO World heritage City of Melaka.
This city invites you to experience the old world charm of buildings and architecture inherited from centuries of Portuguese, Dutch and British rule.
CAMERON HIGHLANDS
The Cameron Highlands is Malaysia’s most extensive hill station and a district within the state of Pahang. Occupying and area of about 712 sq km, Cameron highlands is one of the oldest Tourist spots in Malaysia.
Being the largest of Malaysia’s highland resorts, there is so much to do. Well known for its Tea estates, cool weather, orchards,nurseries, farmlands, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, wildlife, mossy forests, golf courses, hotels, places of worship, Bungalows, Land Rovers, museum and aborigines.
Accessible by road via North-South Expressway from Kuala Lumpur. Many visitors come here to experience Malaysia’s cool fresh air and a part of Malaysia’s past where colonial officers spend their vacation.
TAMAN
NEGARA
Taman Negara, Malaysia’s premier National Park covers three states of Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu is a haven for diversity of plants, animals, birds,
butterflies, insects and fish. Among the unique attractions in this 434,350ha park are ancient trees, limestone caves, waterfalls, and jungle clad mountains.
Estimated to be about 130 million years old, The Taman Negara rainforest is one of the oldest rainforests in the world.
Even if you can spend only a day here, it would be a great place to experience that will give you a flavour on how most of Malaysia once looked like.
BUKIT

BELUM
RAINFOREST
Belum Rainforest located in the state of Perak bordering Thailand and the State of Kelantan, nestled within the protected Belum Valley.
This 117,500 ha virgin rainforest is one of the few places in Malaysia where you can see the rare Rafflesia in its natural habitat. It Consists of a complex ecosystem. Situated in the Northern part of lake Temenggor, it is a haven for wild animals such as the Asian Elephant, Malaysian Tiger, Sumatran Rhino and Birds ( the only forest to have 10 species of Hornbill ). Not forgetting over 3000 species of flowering plants.
This enchanting atmosphere is home to the ‘orang asli’ - local natives or aborigines with their unique traditional lifestyle of totally depending on the jungles and surrounding lake. A rich Asli tribal diversity which visitors can appreciate.
PENANG
Long regarded as the food capital of Malaysia, Penang is a fascinating fusion of the East and the West entices worldwide visitors.
This harmonious multiracial populace and well preserved heritage buildings, led George Town, the island capital city, to become a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. One of the best places to experience part of the old world while surrounded by the modern.
PANGKOR
ISLAND
Tucked away within this idyllic tropical island are many cultural and historical attractions ( that date back to about 300 years).
Easily explored on foot or vehicle. Visitors come often to the beaches that surround the Island for some fun in the sun.
LANGKAWI
Langkawi is synonymous with “tropical paradise”. Off the coast of Kedah, this archipelago comprise 99 island dominated by Pulau Langkawi.
Offering beautiful beaches, intact jungle, fascinating legends and world class infrastructures the island is a duty free hot spot since 1986, attracting thousands of international tourists all year-round.
REDANG
ISLAND
The largest Island on the coast of Terengganu, famous for its crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches. Located within a marine sanctuary park, this island is a favourite among divers, snorkelers and sun seekers.
TIOMAN
Located about 32 km off the coast of Pahang. This densely forested island is sparsely inhabited. It is a nature reserve, ringed by beaches surrounded by numerous coral reefs, it has a diverse marine life, making scuba diving a main activity on the island.
Despite being popular, the island retains an unspoiled feel with pristine wildlife and authentic village life.
PERHENTIAN
ISLAND
Pulau Perhentian Besar and Kecil offer amazing views of sparkling white sands and clear blue water. This makes the two islands a firm favourite among divers and snorkelers.
Visitors have a choice of either staying on Perhentian Besar (larger) or Perhentian Kecil (Smaller) - it takes only a 10 minute boat ride between the two islands. While the smaller island has an upbeat atmosphere, its neighbour has a quieter ambience with comparatively larger resorts.
