TOUR OF MANGROVES
DURATION: 3 HOURS
DEPARTURE TIME: 15:00 FROM HOTEL LOBBY
Enjoy panoramic and spectacular views of the unique limestone rock formations rising from the mangrove swamps and seabed. These fascinating geological wonders have been given various names, such as the Borobudur Temple, Elephant Rock, and Hanging Gardens.
Explore Gua Kelawar (Bat Cave) and immerse yourself in captivating tales of mystery and romance. Finish the tour by observing fish farms in open-sea enclosures. The tour also includes a special eagle feeding show, where the symbolic brown eagles of the island are attracted close to the boat with raw chicken entrails.
A typical journey begins at Kilim or Tg Rhu jetty, navigating through channels lined with mangrove trees, passing through a cave, and finally reaching a larger bay where various large sailing boats from around the world are anchored in the sheltered bay.
Some fish farms also share the bay. These have become such tourist attractions that the fish on display now seem more like pets than livestock intended for local restaurant tables.
Note:
It is recommended to bring sunscreen, swimwear, non-slip footwear, drinking water, and towels.
SUNSET DINNER CRUISE
DURATION: 3 HOURS
DEPARTURE TIME: 16:00 FROM HOTEL LOBBY
Experience complete serenity and listen to the sounds of the waves without interruptions from the city.
Sail across the Andaman Sea and admire the numerous and fascinating islands of Langkawi.
During the cruise, enjoy a refreshing drink, sample some snacks, and feel the cool sea breeze as the boat glides across the water.
Later, take your bathing gear and immerse yourself in the warm waters of the “saltwater Jacuzzi”, a net attached to the back of the boat that acts as a safety harness where you can relax while the boat moves.
Witness the spectacular sight of the tropical sun sinking into the horizon of the Andaman Sea, and if you’re lucky, you may catch the natural phenomenon known as the legendary “green flash.”
