RAINFOREST KAYAKING (DAYTRIP)

Service Description

Departure in the morning for about one hour by car from Kuching to reach Kampung Bengoh. The journey passes through beautiful landscapes of rice fields, rubber, cocoa and pepper plantations, alternating with forests, rivers and mountains. You will arrive in Bengoh, a Bidayuh village that serves as the starting point for your adventure. Here you will receive the main instructions and a safety briefing before heading to the creek to begin your kayaking experience. The river is shaded, bordered by overhanging jungle plants and steep banks. The starting point is a bridge, from where the route winds for a short distance before reaching the Sarawak Kiri River. About a quarter into the river canoeing route, you will reach Kampung Canu, just after passing a suspension bridge. Here you will visit the village and enjoy a packed lunch. The journey continues by paddling along the river, with a short stop on a sandy bank just below tall limestone mountains. You will also experience some class 1/2 rapids (depending on the water level). The trip ends at Kampung Semadang, from where you will return overland to Kuching.
